Chef Christina began cooking with her mother and grandmother when she was only five years old.
Later, working with her Dad in his butcher shop and with two uncles in the catering and banquet business, she became familiar with food preparation, plating, and design. She discovered a love for cooking as a means of enhancing peoples' lives.
Her subsequent 16-year career in the hotel business found her managing hotels in the US and the Caribbean. She designed and organized kitchens, created menus and began experimenting with classic recipes, making them more healthful by reducing salt and fat while retaining layers of flavor.
She hired and supervised executive chefs, often working with them in the kitchen. The food service in her hotels ranged from a sixty-four seat gourmet restaurant to banquets of several hundred.
She has a collection of more than 200 cookbooks and 500+ treasured recipes, some she created, representing many cultures and time periods.
Famed for her personal dinner parties and encouraged by friends to open a restaurant, Christina achieved a diploma from the Culinary Business Academy and formed a Personal Chef service in the Florida panhandle.
